Welcome Kyra, the Center's First Intern!

I've been mulling over the idea of bringing on an intern since before we opened. In the fall I received an unsolicited phone call from a student in AB Tech's advanced massage program asking if she could intern with us. Her program requires her to do a 160-hour internship in her final semester focusing on learning more about the business side of having a practice. She was so convincing and earnest about her desire to work in a place like ours (vs. a spa) that I decided to bring her on. She will be working Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am till 3pm, for the next sixteen weeks. She will be helping us at the desk and with some projects we've been meaning to get to. Welcome Kyra!
