Acupuncture for Pain
Acupuncture Can Help With Pain of All Types
Acupuncture can reduce swelling and inflammation, release tight muscles, calm the nervous system, promote circulation, increase range of motion, and reduce pain. It can even decrease or eliminate the need for prescription pain medications, and help you avoid surgery. I commonly treat tension headaches, migraines, strains, sprains, plantar fasciitits, tendinitis, Fibromyalgia Syndrome, sciatica, arthritis, and pain of the lower back, neck, shoulders, knees, hips, and ankles. Acupuncture can also help with numbness, tinging, and nerve pain.
Chinese Herbs Can be Helpful as Well
There are Chinese herbal formulas for all types of pain that can help enhance the effects of the acupuncture, addressing your symptoms from the inside out. They are very gentle and effective and available in convenient pill form. If you are interested in trying herbs, they are included with your session at no extra charge. As Can Chinese Massage Techniques
These sorts of techniques enhance the effects of the acupuncture and are healing in their own right. Tuina, Chinese medical massage, is the foundation of these techniques. With cupping, glass orbs are suctioned to the skin, releasing tension and pulling blood to the area so muscles can soften and heal. Acupressure manually releases tissues, while medicated oils reduce inflammation, enhance circulation, and stop pain. If you are interested in trying some of these techniques, they are included with your session at no extra charge Please click here to learn more about these techniques.
"Nancy can poke me any time, she has the magic! As a physician who does a lot of "hands on" manual medicine, I recognize somebody with a "good pair of hands". Nancy has that gift. She's taken me from being in daily pain with severe fatigue and a chronically catabolic state back to healing & growth. Very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. I never fail to feel better walking out her door than I did walking in." -Dr. RJ Oenbrink Please click here to read over 130 5-star reviews.
